SIPspeak – A calls, lines and numbers service for Channel Partners

Carrier Pre Selection - CPS

There may be some instances where an IP service is not appropriate, so SIPcom can also provide Channel Partners with access to CPS services.

CPS enables users to route calls over SIPcom’s chosen network partner, without the need for dialing an access code, or having to install equipment on site. There is no loss of service during the transfer and the customer retains their existing number(s) for inbound calls.

CPS allows Channel Partners to offer their customers cost savings on calls, using the traditional PSTN.

Wholesale Line Rental – WLR

Historically, BT have always provided the line services for both residential and business consumers, but following the introduction of Wholesale Line Rental (WLR), SIPcom can offer Channel Partners the option of providing line rental services, which they can bill customers for in their own name.

Channel Partners may wish to take advantage of this facility when ordering new BT lines, over which to run the DSL service required to access SIPexchange or SIPreach.

Benefits:

• Single bill for calls, lines and all telecoms services.
• Potential extra revenue stream for Channel Partners that provides a degree of term commitment and therefore helps to secure the customer.
• All line rental types can be ordered – Analogue, ISDN2 and ISDN 30.
• Existing lines can be transferred to SIPcom

Non-Geographic Numbers - NGNs

SIPcom is able to provide Channel Partners with the full range of Non Geographic Numbers (NGNs), which are also sometimes referred to as Number Translation Services (NTS).

Numbers offered include:

• Freephone (0800 and 0808)
• Local Rate (0845)
• National Rate (0870)
• Fixed National Rate (0871)

SIPcom can provide straightforward translation of the number to a single destination number, or the Channel Partner can select from a range of specialist routing plans, based on elements such as time of day, day of week, geographic location of calling party and call load. These types of services are often used for marketing campaigns or handling customer enquiries.
