Hosted Telephony
Hosted telephony business solutions do not require any capital investment, unlike a traditional PBX. The SIPcom solution is hosted and managed at a carrier level in our secure facilities in London. Hosted telephony systems are incredibly resilient, future proof, feature rich and can often provide a lower cost of ownership than traditional systems over the length of a typical contract, together with inherent disaster recovery options.
With a SIPcom hosted IP Telephony solution, no onsite PBX is required. However, using a gateway product, it is possible to link an existing PBX to SIPcom. This is known as SIP trunking and can offer the end customer functionality and scalability with minimal new hardware costs. It allows the customer to fully leverage the investment made in their existing PBX whilst at the same time replacing their expensive ISDN circuits. This method also allows a gentle and often seamless migration path towards a fully hosted IP Telephony solution. |
